SURF SCHOOL

Sanvi Surf House partners with one of the best Surf Schools in Spain.

At our school, not only do we wish for our guests to learn or improve their surfing techniques, we also strive to convey the values and the culture that this sport represents. Our priority is quality, for this reason we collaborate with teachers who hold great experience and with different qualifications recognised by the Asociación de Escuelasde Profesionales surfistas, Federación Española de Surf and the Federacion de Surf Cántabra.

Our courses are divided into two levels:

1 > Initiation

The course objective is for you to learn and understand the rules and security measures, recognise the tides, the currents, the different types of waves, overcome the broken waves, the rowing technique, the take off technique and the correct position of the body on the board.

2 > Improvement

The goal of the course, depending on the level of the student, is refining rowing and take off techniques, choosing the waves, refining the position on the peak, improving the position of the body according to the strength and shape of the wave and taking waves in frontside and backside.
Those with more advanced skills can refine or learn moves such as the cutback, floaters, re-entries, fast direction changes and carving.
